I used their personal plan and had a not-fun time transitioning to their Small Business plan when they discontinued it. I am using CrashPlan for quite a number of years. I have read all the features and promises on the respective websites, but I am asking here, because I want to hear what people have experienced with said services themselves. If the plan has a mobile included it is a nice to have, but not a must, since I tend to regularly back up my phone data on my pc.Īnother big plus would be if I can back up my external drives (around 15 of them, each about 500 GB) without having to plug them in a certain period of time, just so that the data does not get deleted. One of them has about 5-6 TB of data and the other one around 18 TB. I have 2 Windows devices which I want to back up. So the best audience to ask will be the ones that are in the same boat with me. The comparison of the services on their respective sites seem a bit biased. I had been eyeing Backblaze for a longer time now, but after reading some posts here and on other Subreddits, many people recommend the different services, but all the posts seem a bit dated, so I wanted to ask again. The prices seem to be about the same for my use cases, but even if not, it is a minimal difference.
